Opened in 2004 by former American diplomat Kathy Kriger, Rick's Café is a loving recreation of the fictional nightclub from the classic Humphrey Bogart film. Although the original movie was filmed entirely in Hollywood, Kriger spent years researching and designing a space that captures the essence of the film's iconic setting. The result is a stunning riad (traditional Moroccan house) transformed into a restaurant and piano bar that feels lifted directly from the silver screen.
