Paradise Valley is a hidden oasis tucked into the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, about an hour from Agadir. This stunning natural wonder features crystal-clear rock pools, towering palm trees, and dramatic canyon walls—a refreshing contrast to the coastal beaches.

A Natural Oasis

Discovered by hippie travelers in the 1960s and 1970s (Jimi Hendrix reportedly visited), Paradise Valley earned its name from its Garden of Eden-like appearance. The valley follows a river through a narrow canyon, with natural pools formed by centuries of water erosion. The journey from Agadir passes through scenic argan forests and traditional villages, making the drive part of the experience. Small cafes at the valley entrance offer tagines and mint tea. Spring and early summer offer the best water levels, though the valley is beautiful year-round.
